Never Suppress Sneezing – It’s Bad for Your Health
We all found ourselves in public place, such as class or meeting, with a feeling of an intense sneeze coming on. The worst thing you can do in such situation is to ‘keep it for yourself’. Suppressing your sneeze could affect badly your health.
How, you may ask?
Sneeze travels at over 100 MPH. Imagine what happens in your head when you try to stop it. Pressure and mucus of sneeze could seriously damage tender and delicate parts of your head.
By suppressing sneeze you could damage your hearing, even burst your eardrums. Suppressed sneeze canĀ tear blood vessels and muscles within the head and cause sinus hemorrhage.
There are even worse damages. Tongues were bitten and even severed due to suppressed sneeze. You know how much bacteria is in the mouth? Nice environment for various infections. Also, your upper and lower jaw can snap shut in the process resulting in broken teeth.
So, when you try to suppress your sneeze next time just to be polite in front of others, think twice. I say let it go, no matter how loud it is.

hahaha but it IS kind of embarrassing when you let out a sneeze in a crowded place -and i mean REALLY crowded- and you don’t have enough time to whip out a hanky or tissue.
